A number of people, particularly tourists, in Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province, have been affected by flood caused by torrential rain. Rescue team has been trying to rescue more than 30 people stranded at the resort in the district.
According to Ratchaburi Deputy Governor, soldiers and villagers in the district managed to construct a temporary bridge to rescue more than 30 tourists who were stranded at the Suan Phueng resort after flash flood had wiped out all entrances. It was reported that flash-flood from the Tanowsri Mountain Range inundated part of Kanchanaburi Province, particularly Dan Makham Tia, where the water level was up to 5 meters high, and its color turned red.
Local authorities warned people in the area to brace for more rain and be prepared to evacuate in case of emergency. In Samut Prakarn, a lot of people were left homeless after heavy storm and rain had severely battered their homes.
