On Tuesday Afternoon at the Chonburi Immigration Office in Soi 5 off Jomtien Beach Road, Police Colonel Atisawit, the Superintendant of the Immigration Office, held a preparation meeting for their new Transnational Crime Data Center which is due to open on 5th August. This new office will work closely with foreign law enforcement organizations and Embassies to ensure that wanted foreign nationals residing in the Chonburi area can be located, arrested and then deported if necessary to face charges in their native countries. Also in the meeting, the Colonel revealed that he had received a direct order from Police Lieutenant General Wutt, the Immigration Police Commissioner, to cancel the visa of Mr. Mickhail Pletnev, the Russian Composer which is currently facing charges of committing sexual acts with a minor under the age of 15, and to also place him on the Immigration Black List.
