BANGKOK (Dow Jones)–General Motors Thailand said Wednesday that union workers have ended a strike at its manufacturing plant in the country’s east that has left production idling since early last week.
The auto maker said in a statement that normal operations at the Rayong plant will resume Thursday after the company and the Workers Union of General Motors “achieved amicable solutions.”
“The management of GMTH and the WUGM have agreed to implement various forward-looking initiatives and co-operative actions,” the statement said.
