Heavy rainfall causes major flooding across the country

Bangkok roads were hit with traffic jams yesterday morning after torrential rains overnight caused flooding in several parts of the capital and near many schools.

Saint Joseph Thiphawan, Rajvinit Bangkae and Assumption Samut Prakan schools in Samut Prakan province cancelled classes yesterday, while Sri Nakarin and Sukhumvit roads were congested for kilometres due to flooding.
