Thailand wins China Harbin snow sculpting championship 5th year in a row

BANGKOK, 9 January 2014 (NNT) — Thailand has once again won the snow sculpture competition in China, making it the 5th consecutive win for the country this year.

Secretary-General the Office of Vocational Education Commission Dr. Chaipreuk Sereerak happily announced that Thailand has won for the 5th consecutive year the top prize at the “6th International Collegiate Snow Sculpture Contest 2014”, which was held during January 4-7 of this year at Harbin, China.

The theme of the competition was under “Inspiration Snow Dream” with 61 teams from 13 countries competing in. They needed to complete their snow sculptures within 3 days under temperatures as low as -10 degrees Celsius.
